Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them. Romans 12:6
When you volunteer, you’ll get to know our residents and staff while enriching every life you touch as well as your own. You’ll be blessed by learning about life from those who have rich history.
Serving is the cornerstone of Christian faith. It allows us to express our faith in words and deeds. Giving back teaches us valuable life lessons only learned by serving.
We have a wide range of volunteer opportunities in which you or your group’s skill set can be used. We invite you to find a volunteer opportunity that’s right for you.
Resident services. You perform non-medical services such as escorting residents to the hair salon, library or other locations, taking a walk around campus, reading or writing cards and letters, making phone calls or offering other general assistance.
Resident entertainment. Sing, play music, watch a movie or simply have a good conversation with our warm, loving residents.
Administration/Marketing. Help with mailing projects or duties in the business office.
Maintenance. Lend a hand at maintaining flower beds, painting or cleaning windows.
Special Events. Billy Graham HOPE call center where volunteers answer calls from viewers of the Billy Graham television broadcasts. Our residents, staff, family of residents and friends from the Laurens community share their faith, prayers and love with those who call in.
