We offer personal support and assistance for senior adults who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease or dementia and struggle with any or all activities of daily living. We provide a secure environment and activities to address the specific needs of individuals with memory loss and related behavioral challenges.
Our caregivers are particularly vigilant and conscious of each resident's preferences, personality, and patterns of behavior.
Our mission is to preserve and protect the dignity and well-being of individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other memory illnesses as they face the challenges of their late-life stages. We offer support, within their individual capacity, in a safe, peaceful and loving environment. Patient care is our top priority.
A secure environment is essential for the safety and wellbeing of our residents with memory impairment. Our Memory Care residence is completely self-contained and designed to provide a secure environment and allow residents with dementia to move about freely and safely, both indoors and out, without a sense of confinement. Security is on several levels including perimeter security, staff supervision and monitored doors.
The floor plan of the Memory Care residence is designed with visual clues throughout the area to help orient residents. Lots of natural light with a view, an inviting outside courtyard for sitting and bird watching, and floors or hallways that do not impede walking all help minimize confusion and help compensate for cognitive losses.
Our specially trained staff provides comfort in a dignified and discreetly secured setting. We also have a unique fully secure neighborhood for those needing skilled care. Specialized Dementia training is provided to all staff.
